Belchertown's Grapevine Grille hosting a holiday toy drive for foster kids

Date: 11/30/2022

BELCHERTOWN – Grapevine Grille is collecting unwrapped toys for foster children in Hampshire County.

The ages of the kids who will receive the gifts will range from newborns to 18 years old and Grapevine Grille will be accepting donations until Dec. 6.

Any toy for boys or girls for any age group are welcomed as long as they are unwrapped.

All the donations will go to All Our Kids (AOK) foundation.

AOK’s mission is to empower Western Massachusetts foster and adoptive families to thrive by enriching community connectedness, providing education and resources, and helping the public understand and support their experience.

Grapevine Grille manager Josette Beford said if you bring in an unwrapped gift to donate, you will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a gift card tree that will include gift cards to multiple local businesses.
Beford added that the reason behind holding the toy drive was because of one of the employees of Grapevine Grille is big into the community and gets into a lot of charity events.

“It makes us happy to be able to take care of the community in any way we can. It may not be the biggest thing but something we can do in a small way to show that we care,” Beford said.

Grapevine Grille plans to host multiple drives as the months go on besides the current holiday toy drive.
Beford added that the drive is going well so far but still welcomes any toy donation that people have to offer.
