BELCHERTOWN – Clear Sky Cannabis officially opened its newest store, located at 20 George Hannum St., on Sept. 19. The opening represents new growth for the chain that opened its first retail store in 2018 and also includes locations in North Adams and Worcester.
Clear Sky Cannabis is an adult-use cannabis store with over 350 items on their menu. CEO Anthony Parrinello said that Belchertown had a great market for the new location.
“The community was extremely welcoming and we felt it would be a good market. It’s an underserved area and there was a good opportunity here to provide really great value and offerings. We think it will resonate extremely well with consumers in this area,” said Parrinello.
The store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week. Parrinello said it is newly renovated and there is ample parking for customers. According to Parrinello, Clear Sky Cannabis has some of the best pricing in the Massachusetts marketplace. He said that their staff is extremely well-trained and knowledgable in order to provide consumers with a world-class retail experience.
“It’s offering great value to customers because there are so many options today. We want customers to come back and the way they come back is that you’re fair and you create a relationship based on trust. That formula has worked really, really well for us,” said Parrinello.
Clear Sky Cannabis is a great option for both beginners and experts in the cannabis market, said Parrinello.
“We meet people where they want to be met. Our store is comfortable and our staff is super friendly, patient and very well-educated. If it’s your first time, they can kind of hold your hand and take you down the path to make sure you get the right products for what you’re trying to solve,” he said. “If you’re someone who’s an experienced customer, we’ll answer any questions you may have and get you in and get you out as easy as possible.”
Parrinello said that he is grateful to be able to open this third location and continue setting out on the principles he established for his business back in 2018.
“I’ve been working on this venture since 2018. To open up our third store is quite a big accomplishment. There aren’t a lot of independent retailers that have three stores so that in itself is a great accomplishment, but we’ve done it with great partnerships in the communities that we serve. We have great community relations in each municipality, we have a staff that is extremely diverse, we are a very inclusive employer and that’s very important to us,” he said.
