All American Assisted Living celebrates grand opening

Date: 4/27/2023

ENFIELD — On April 20, All American Assisted Living in Enfield at 118 Hazard Ave. had their grand opening event.

Though it officially opened on Jan. 3, Director of Community Relations Audra Lauf said, “We wanted to wait to have our grand opening celebration to when we had people in the community.”

The celebration was jam-packed with over 250 people dressed in red, white and blue. There was a red carpet, flag raising, ribbon cutting, photo booth, music, eight food stations and a signature red, white and blue martini. Attendees included Enfield Mayor Bob Cressotti, State Rep. Kurt Vail, Enfield Town Manger Ellen Zoppo-Sassu, the North Central Chamber, the John Maciolek American Legion Post 154, Enfield Chief of Police Alaric J. Fox, Enfield Rotary members and many Enfield Town Council members.

All American in Enfield offers assisted living, memory care, respite care and stronger living. There’s a certified nurse’s aide 24/7, a wide variety of activities, indoor and outdoor dining, a bistro, cinema and happy hour. The facility offers shared living space — if seniors like companion living, — a physiologist, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy on site. They also cater to veterans, first responders and their spouses who join their community.

All-American Assisted Living is owned by Kaplan Development Group LLC with communities in New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Lauf said, “Many of our residents are from the Enfield community and there wasn’t an assisted living in Enfield, Somers, Stafford or Union so this area really needed an assisted living.”

She continued, “Our goal is always to have everyone feel at home whether they’re staff, resident or a resident family we are all very welcoming. We want everyone to stay as independent as possible as long as possible, have socialization and enjoy every minute they can while they’re here.”
