HADLEY — The DPW hosted an Open House at their facility at 230 Middle St. to draw attention to the proposal and design plans for a new facility to be built on the existing site.
The Oct. 14 event showcased the town’s fleet of construction and maintenance vehicles and heavy equipment. Community members young and old were offered information and imagery about what the DPW does, what they see as the needs for the future and what a new facility might look like and be able to provide.
As children climbed aboard and played on the giant vehicles, adults got a close up look at what they will likely be voting on in the future.
