HADLEY — A fundraising sale of books, baked goods and crafts and tag sale items will run at Hadley Public Library on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Similar to an event that took place back in May, Patty Judice, who serves on the board of the Friends of the Hadley Public Library, said all the proceeds will go towards the library and their many programs.
“There’s a combination of programs throughout the year that are offered for adults and children,” Judice said. “We also have speakers throughout the year who cover various topics and we sponsor and host them.”
A wide variety of bargain and “better priced books” will also be made available for purchase for reading enthusiasts.
Newly printed library tote bags will be offered for sale that day in addition to the many items provided by the library and outside vendors.
“We also sponsor movie nights at the library,” Judice said. “These are carryovers year to year, they’re popular programs.”
Interested vendors can reserve a 4-foot by 8-foot table for $25 to participate on the day of the event.
