BRIMFIELD – Brimfield restaurant-goers will soon see a new look to their favorite local staple, as since July 18, Francesco’s Ristorante & Pizzeria has been open for takeout only as they are in the process of remodeling the inside of their building.
Owner Francesco Ferrentino explained, “We’ve been doing renovations for a couple of weeks. We’re putting in new furniture, a new bar, new tables and new chairs. We want to thank our customers for being patient with us as we try to serve them during our renovations.”
Francesco’s is a family-owned Italian restaurant that’s been in business for 35 years where everything is fresh and homemade daily. They host private events, weddings, rehearsal dinners, business lunches, cocktail receptions, and more, and are considered a local staple that draws crowds from Monson, Wales, Warren, Holland, Sturbridge, Brookfield and Stafford, CT.
Francesco’s menu consists of Italian favorites – spaghetti, linguini, ziti, stuffed shells, lasagna, fettuccini alfredo, calamari – the list goes on. Additionally, they offer countless pizza combinations and desserts such as tiramisu and cannoli. Favorite dishes at the restaurant include the eggplant parmesan, chicken Francaise, chicken calabrese and haddock Francaise.
Ferrentino told Reminder Publishing the restaurant needs some updating. Expanding their bar is something he said he has been wanting to do for a long time as they have a large number of regular customers that enjoy sitting at the bar. As far as their renovation process goes, Ferrentino said they probably have at least another week. For the time being, Francesco’s is open for takeout Monday through Friday from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
“I think our customers will be happy with the renovations,” Ferrentino responded. “Everything is new, and they can expect to see a different look.”
