WALES — The annual town election happened on May 24, with 180 ballots cast, or 10.5% of the total registered voters.
John Grasso Jr., was reelected a three-year term on the Select Board with 79 votes. His challenger, Robyn Chrabascz, followed with 71 votes.
On the Board of Assessors for a term of three years, write-in candidate Leis Phinney won by 21 votes in an uncontested race.
An uncontested race for a three year term on the Planning Board was filled by reelected candidate Jason Oney with 119 votes. For a two year term on the Planning Board, write-in candidate Danielle LaFlower won this uncontested race with 15 votes.
Candidate for reelection Daniel Haley won the open three year term as Board of Health member with 131 votes.
Candidate for reelection Wilfred Anair Jr. won the uncontested open seat for a three year term on the Cemetery Commission by 131 votes.
New candidate Lisa Sheridan secured the three year term as library trustee with 118 votes.
For an uncontested three-year term on the School Committee, write-in candidate Ashley Gallant won with 22 votes.
For a three-year term as constable, incumbent Kevin Jegelewicz was reelected with 129 votes.
