Third annual Brimfield Easter egg hunt set for April 9

Date: 4/4/2022

BRIMFIELD – Get ready for a fun family eggstravaganza – on April 9, Brimfield Community Partnership will host their third annual Easter egg hunt at the Brimfield Winery/Brimfield Auction Acres at 35 Main St. from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Brimfield Community Partnership is a non-profit organization that looks to provide fun, family-friendly events to bring the community together.

At the event, there will be an Easter egg hunt for children, complete with goodie bags, bounce houses, games, local vendors and crafters, the Roaming Rooster Cantina food truck, popcorn, cotton candy and a wildlife animal presentation by Out of the Ark Educational Animal Shows, weather permitting. In addition, the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance.

Vendors set to attend the event include Dorothy’s Doodads Balloons and Homemade Crafts, Country Town Charms, Beads By Lea, Autism in My Pocket, The Joy Of Beans, Advanced Pediatrics, Makes Scents Candles, Motherbear Skin Care, Angie’s Animals, Sew Much Stuff Boutique and Color Street Nails.

“We’re very excited to be able to put this event on this year,” replied President of Brimfield Community Partnership Ryan Olszta. “We didn’t get to do it last year and it’s something that we really look forward to putting on. It’s a ton of fun.”

While this is a free event for all who attend, Olszta explained donations are always welcome and appreciated for the partnership to continue keeping the community engaged and connected.

Donations help the group continue to host more events, assist local families in need during the holidays and provide scholarships for graduating seniors from Tantasqua High School. Along with the Easter Egg Hunt, they also host the annual Harvest Festival and take care of the Christmas decorations for the town common.

“It’s important for events like this to happen,” said Olszta. “It’s really the start of the year as far as community events go, and we don’t have many community events that happen in Brimfield. Though we were able to have a Harvest Festival, we went a couple of years with no community events so it’s really important that people are able to get back out, meet their community neighbors essentially and have that positive interaction in the community.”

The Brimfield Community Partnership is looking for volunteers. For those who may be interested, the group can be reached at brimfieldcommunitypartnership@gmail.com.
