BRIMFIELD — Brimfield Winery will present the fourth annual Pioneer Valley Brimfield Blues Festival on Saturday, Aug. 26, featuring a “powerhouse” lineup of woman leads.
Performances will be given by The Misty Blues Band featuring Gina Coleman, Diane Blue All-Star Band with special guest Laura Chavez, and Little Sugar and the Big Spoonful.
Brimfield Winery owner Kate Corriveau said, “It’s an all woman lineup this year. Powerhouses.The Misty Blues just came back from a trip to the UK. Lauren Chavez is world renowned. You can say we have a pretty impressive lineup.”
Gates open at noon and it all starts at 1 p.m., going through to 6:30 p.m., rain or shine. The winery is located at 35 Main St. Early bird tickets are available at $25, at the door if available will be $30. Last year, around 250 people attended.
Food truck Flippin the Bird BBQ will be on-site serving their regular menu which includes pulled pork, buffalo and barbecue pulled chicken, mac and cheese, coleslaw, dirty rice, baked beans and much more.
A portion of the proceeds go to the Tom Clardy Foundation scholarship fund. Clardy was a Massachusetts state trooper stationed at the Charlton barracks who was struck and killed by a motorist during a traffic stop.
