SOUTHAMPTON – The Edwards Public Library in Southampton was the site of an alpaca meet-and-greet and story time for children as part of the library’s summer reading program events.
The July 20 event featured four alpacas visit from Noodle Neck Farm and parents and children came in waves to meet the animals.
Children and families learned about alpacas’ bodies and fleece from the Noodle Neck team and more information on their overall lifestyles.
Following time feeding and petting the alpacas, Librarian Johanna Douglass read a story about alpacas to the children in attendance.
