SOUTHAMPTON – The annual Hampshire Regional High School (HRHS) Golf Tournament is returning to the Southampton Country Club on June 26.
Spearheaded by the HRHS Booster Club, which is a nonprofit organization of parents who volunteer time and effort to benefit HRHS sports, the tournament will have a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
The price is $100 per golfer and includes golf, cart and dinner. Non-golfers are also welcome to come for dinner at a price of $35. People are encouraged to sign up as foursomes.
“The tournament is our largest fundraiser and allows the Booster Club to support our hard-working student-athletes through varsity awards, letters and pins to recognize achievements in addition to the many updates to our banners that are proudly displayed in our gym,” said Meg Pond, president of the HRHS Booster Club. “Hampshire Regional had very successful fall, winter, and spring sports seasons this past school year and we are looking forward to continued success for our teams in the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.”
