CUMMINGTON - The 154th edition of the Cummington Fair was presented Aug. 26 through 28 and featured many of the attractions for which the country fair is well known. On Aug. 28, there was a gathering of antique cars, an antique tractor display, a lumberjack contest, the judging of livestock and much more. This year, a tractor pull event was introduced for children with the kids pedaling a miniature tractor with a weighted trailer. Children as young as 2 and as old as 12 participated with the older children having to pull heavier loads. Agriculture is at the center of the fair with local farmers displaying fruit and vegetables including a championship pumpkin.
