Snowflake Holiday Craft Fair to feature Hilltown artisans

Date: 10/30/2019

CHESTER – The Chester Historical Society is sponsoring the 14th Annual Snowflake Holiday Craft Fair on Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Chester Town Hall, 15 Middlefield Rd.  Parking is available across the street at the Old Chester Elementary School and on Main Street.

The Snowflake Fair highlights handmade products by Hilltown artisans.  Also featured will be a Yankee auction, 50/50 raffle and music by Terry Convery.

John Garvey of the Chester Historical Society said a drawing will be held for a homemade quilt to benefit the Chester History Museum. The new museum is in the old Methodist church on Route 20 in Chester. The money from the raffle tickets, which have been sold at various events, is being raised to install a bathroom in the church, to allow the Historical Society to open the Chester History Museum to the public.

Get an early start on holiday shopping, take a stroll around the village, and visit the Chester Village Market, Pease Store, Chester Common Table, Classic Pizza/Blue Note Café, and the Chester Railway Station.

The Snowflake Holiday Craft Fair is also supported in part by the Chester Cultural Council.
