LUDLOW – On Dec. 4, the town of Ludlow and the Police and Fire departments kicked off the holiday season by hosting a holiday parade from the Walgreen’s plaza to Town Hall where residents were waiting to begin the annual tree lighting. During the tree lighting ceremony, children were able to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and hang ornaments on the town tree. Snacks and hot chocolate were also handed out by different groups in town like the Rotary Club and Girl Scouts. The Ludlow High School chorus sang some Christmas carols while the Ludlow Police collected new, unwrapped toys for the Toys for Tots program.
