LUDLOW – Mad Wings has brought its brand to Ludlow and is excited to have its own building.
At the end of December 2022, Mad Wings finally opened its new location after originally planning to open in August 2022.
Mad Wings’ first location is in Chicopee, but the owners wanted to expand because of the current building situation.
The Chicopee location currently shares a space with Geraldine’s Bar and Grill and was not the most ideal situation according to part owner Alyssia Cust.
“We were stuck on bar hours. We had a lot of customers wanting to bring their families who couldn’t, so we wanted to make it more family friendly for them,” Cust added.
Mad Wings is a family owned business.
“We are all doing this together.” Cust added. “There are five of us between my parents, brother, sister and me.”
It is always something that the family has wanted to do according to Cust.
Their menu includes wings, burgers, grinders, wraps, quesadillas, nachos and fresh cut fries.
Something that separates them from other restaurants and a factor they pride themselves on is how they prepare their food, according to Cust.
“Everything we make is fresh. We try to minimize as much frozen stuff as we can and make everything from scratch. We hand bread our chicken, hand cut our fries, we roll our own meatballs and press the burgers ourselves.”
They have 10 wing flavors to choose from but the buffalo garlic parmesan “has been our biggest hit” since it has been added to the menu according to Cust.
Currently Mad Wings is only open for takeout but hope to have the dining room open by February.
“We have a dining room ready we are just waiting for approval from Town Hall. We also have our beer and wine license so once we can open our indoors, we can have some fun football time,” Cust added.

Cust said, “Business has been going good so far. We have been busy, and it has been nice to see everyone from town come in. We look forward to serving our food to everyone and meet new people.”
