PALMER – The Pathfinder School Committee hosted their first meeting of the 2022-2023 school year on Sept. 14.
Eric Duda, superintendent, shared that Pathfinder Tech will have a booth at the Belchertown Fair on Sept. 23 and 24. He said they will have robots on display, birdhouses that students can build, cookies made by culinary students that will be decorated, along with outreach materials, magnets and more for people to take.
Duda noted that they are planning to set up a booth at other fairs, however Belchertown is their “debut.” He said they will also have a face painting booth being run by their students.
The Belchertown Fair will be open from 3 to 10 p.m. on Sept. 23 and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 24.
Open House
On Oct. 6, Pathfinder will have an open house for current students and their families. The time is to be determined, however, interested participants can visit the school’s website at https://pathfindertech.org/ for the most up-to-date information.
In December, they will have another open house, better known as “career night.” Additional information will be released once the event gets closer.
The next Pathfinder School Committee meeting is set to take place on Oct. 12 at 6:30 p.m.
