WARE — The town of Ware was awarded funding through the District for Integral Assistance Program in developing senior housing.
During the Planning Board meeting on March 16, Director of Planning and Community Development Rob Watchilla, explained that this will look at existing conditions and offer strategies to make housing more affordable and to build more affordable housing for seniors.
Watchilla also shared that he will be resigning and pursuing another work opportunity. His last day will be on March 28. Watchilla said the town is actively looking to fill his position.
Solar bylaw hearing
The Planning Board will host a public hearing on the new solar bylaw on April 6 at 7:30 p.m.
