Holistic Soul Expo to take place at Eastern States Exposition

Date: 6/4/2019

WEST SPRINGFIELD – The 2019 Holistic Soul Expo, an event that showcases holistic healing methods and practitioners, is returning to the Eastern States Exposition on June 23, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The American Heritage Dictionary defines “holistic” as “Emphasizing the importance of the whole and the interdependence of its parts.”

“People hear ‘holistic’ and get nervous, but there's nothing to be nervous about,” organizer Dianna Robinson said. “I hope people realize it's not something to be afraid of. It’s a very spiritual thing.”

This will be the Expo’s third year and the largest, Robinson said. Over 60 vendors will be there, so many that there wasn’t enough room for them all in the Storrowton Tavern & Carriage House, and some will be set up outside under a tent.

Visitors can shop for gifts, jewelry, crystals, and visit mediums at their booths. Some of the businesses that will be there include A Wondering Spirit from East Longmeadow, Alternative Health – Wellness Programs and Spa Treatments, and Young Living essential oil education. There will tarot readings by Linda McCracken of Spiritual Web Communication, as well as tarot and bone throwing from psychic, medium, and witch, Evernia Fay.

“They’re very knowledgeable,” Robinson said of the experts and vendors who will be there. “There is a herbarium, someone who photographs your aura, authors and lecturers,” Robinson said. “They all have something different to offer."

The many workshops being conducted include “Past Life Regressions” by Rev. Jan Bartrop-Babbitt; “Opening to the Divine,” led by Brenda Edwards, the co-director of Quantum Life Management; “What the Heck is a Shaman?” with Christian M. Covert from A Wondering Spirit; and “Stairway to Heaven and the One Key that Opens Heaven’s Door,” with the founder of Angel Connections, Barbara Hardie. Hardie is a certified healer, medium, ordained minister, and an award-winning author who will be speaking at the expo.

Also at the event will be Karen Spinelli, who specializes in canine holistic healing and Aura Inspired Illuminations founder, Kerri Letellier. She is a registered nurse and a certified holistic biopulsar reflexograph analyst.

The Storrowton Tavern and Carriage House is located at 1305 Memorial Ave, West Springfield. There will be free parking at the site.
