Tickets on sale for Flutes and Flavors to support West Side Boys and Girls Club

Date: 7/2/2021

WEST SPRINGFIELD – The West Springfield Boys and Girls Club recently announced the return of “Flutes and Flavors” – an annual fundraiser and food/beverage tasting event.

This year’s event will take place on Sept. 16, at the Springfield Country Club. The event begins at 6 p.m.

According to Sarah Calabrese, resource development director for the West Springfield Boys and Girls Club, they have obtained exclusive country club access to the dining hall, cocktail lounge, and outdoor porch that features a fire wall overlooking incredible views.

Calabrese described this fundraiser as an adult-oriented event that is the most “anticipated” food and beverage tasting occasion of the year.

“From craft beer connoisseurs, to wine lovers, cocktail enthusiasts, and foodies, this fundraiser has it all.”

In past years, some food and beverage vendors have included: Storrowton Tavern, K’s Japanese Restaurant, Shortstop Bar & Grill, The Cedars Banquet Facility, Two Weeks Notice Brewing, Provisions Wine Co., Horizon Beverages, and much more.

In addition to the yummy samples, Calabrese said the event will also have a live auction.

Over the years, Calabrese said Flutes and Flavors has attracted hundreds of people from all over the lower Pioneer Valley and beyond. She anticipates a similar turnout this year.

All proceeds raised from Flutes and Flavors will help to support the variety of life-enhancing programs offered at the West Springfield Boys and Girls Club.

Tickets cost $50 per person. To purchase your ticket today, visit wsbgclub.org.
