WILBRAHAM – Three educators in the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District (HWRSD) were selected as winners of the Pioneer Valley Excellence in Teaching Awards – Joshua Griffith, a Social Sciences/History teacher at Minnechaug Regional High School (MRHS), Melissa Doe, who teaches Physical Education at MRHS and April Nicotera, a Speech and Language Pathologist at Wilbraham Middle School.
The awards are sponsored by the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation and the Irene E. & George A. Davis Foundation.
HWRSD Superintendent Albert Ganem said a ceremony will be hosted at the end of the school year for the 2020 and 2021 winners, as well as retiress for both years.
