Asking for your vote

Date: 10/31/2023

Despite the strain of the COVID slow recovery and continuing high inflation, the city of Chicopee and its Assessors Office continues to make progress. Chicopee has one of the lowest tax rates in Western Massachusetts The great financial condition can be attributed to cooperation between the Mayor, and all Departments as well as sound financial planning.

I, together with the financial planning departments, advised the Mayor and council to reduce taxes by $3 million for the past two years.

I voted to double Senior tax reduction to $1,000 off each year to help those on fixed incomes. I voted for the Veteran’s Tax Work-Off program, and adoption of the new state laws reducing property taxes for gold star families and veterans’ spouses. I work cooperatively with the mayor, council and other departments for the good of Chicopee and its taxpayers. Whether at the Office or at home, I always answer your phone calls and your questions as I always try to provide the best public service.

I have served you proudly for 17 years, and for the past 10 consecutively. As a college and law school graduate and lawyer, I use my knowledge every day for the good of the city and you, the taxpayer.”

I thank you for your past support and confidence, and humbly ask that you consider voting for me on Election Day, Nov. 7.

Thank you!
