Brown shows leadership
Date: 6/26/2012
June 27, 2012 The ability to be a voice of reason in an increasingly hostile Senate truly shows the outstanding leadership ability that Scott Brown possesses. By crossing the aisle for several pieces of legislation such as the Dodd-Frank Act or the Violence Against Women Act, Senator Brown has shown that he isn't someone who votes strictly on party lines.
What matters most to Sen. Brown is not pleasing the members of his party but adhering to the needs of the people of Massachusetts. If more politicians took the approach that Sen. Brown has then there would be far less gridlock on Capitol Hill.
