Children's Museum thanks Beaulieu and Sons for support

Date: 11/16/2009

The Wilbraham Children's Museum thanks home improvement contractor Fran Beaulieu of Phil Beaulieu and Sons Contactors for their generous donation and extensive support through donations of staff and materials for repairs to the Children's Museum. To date, Phil Beaulieu and Sons has made the following improvements: installed new exterior shutters and repaired all windows saving the museum thousands of dollars. Phil Beaulieu and Sons plan on completing the rest of the work needed by fixing a roof leak by mid-November.

"This was a huge financial savings for the museum to have this done for no cost to us. A huge thank you!" said Karen Dufrense, Wilbraham Children's Museum Co-President.

Phil Beaulieu & Sons Home Improvement Inc. has been a family owned business for over 40 years. They are set apart from other companies by their many years of quality performance and care. They service their satisfied customers with building and remodeling work, including additions, sunrooms, decks, custom carpentry, vinyl siding, custom windows and doors and much more.

When Fran Beaulieu was asked why he would donate his time, resources and his hard working team, he stated: "We really like to give back to the community of Wilbraham, especially Wilbraham as many of the residents gave a lot of business to our company." Additionally, Fran and his family have a special connection to the museum. His wife and children enjoyed the museum as members in the past and really appreciate the museum in their community.

The Wilbraham Children's Museum is a non-profit organization (since 1998), and is run entirely by volunteers. The museum has public hours on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The museum, located at 678 Main St., is available to rent for birthday parties. The beautiful and newly renovated playground is free and open to the public year round. For more information go to our Web site at
