Does a person have a right to something that is not mentioned in the Constitution? If the answer is “no.” There are many things we do every day which can be regulated, such as drinking coffee. The founders made it clear that the Bill of Rights was not a limitation on our rights, but a mere subset of our rights.
The overruling of Roe v. Wade merely gave the decision making back to the states. But the same principle applies to the state constitutions, as well.
But some of the Justices are right about one thing. Congress has shirked its responsbility and granted sweeping power to various anonymous and un-elected commissions while the congressmen themselves deny all responsibility when things do not work and they then try to be all things to all people. Now they will have to put their name on something, and they do not wish to do that.
