| I would like to take this opportunity to thank the numerous families and individuals who participated in the Hearing Aid Recycle Program sponsored by Audiology & Hearing Services of Longmeadow. This program was initially planned to occur during the month of May; however, due to the overwhelming response we received we continued it into the month of June. Our last package of donated hearing aids was sent off today [June 26]. It was wonderful to meet people from Longmeadow and the surrounding communities and to listen to the many stories of folks with hearing challenges who have received benefits over the years from professionals like myself. All individuals were delighted to know that although used, the hearing instruments were going to be donated to a program to help others hear better.
