I noticed the street light was out between my house and my neighbors house. I called National Grid and reported it. I was told it would take between four to five days to make repairs and here it is two weeks later so I called National Grid again and lo and behold they have no record of my call.
They took all the pertinent information again. After this exchange I thought I would call the town office but I got nowhere as they told me that the town does not call National Grid and it was up to the concerned citizen to call them when lights are out.
Since the town pays for these lights, I thought they would be more concerned with this issue but obviously this individual was not. The light was eventually fixed.
