Hallelujah to the Big E for having no elephants at the fair! That’s a big step forward. Now we have to concentrate on eliminating camel exhibits (and other exotic animals), as well as pig races, and other “animal attractions” such as petting zoos, roadside fairs/circuses, exhibiting “the largest/the smallest” animals in hot, stuffy, smelly tents, trailers, and any animal being chained or restrained.
Animal activists around the world are fighting for animal rights, and will continue to do so. Get used to us because we will never stop.
You don’t need to pet, feed, or ogle animals in confinement in cages, pens, nets, corrals, trailers, in chains. Remember “Planet of the Apes” and their sequels? How would we humans like to be in those situations?
Watch National Geographic, Animal Planet, Discover, PBS and Richard Attenborough channels! You can love and admire animals without having to see them in person as captives.
