Date: 10/31/2018

The East Longmeadow Republican Town Committee met Saturday, Oct. 20 to endorse candidates for the November state election.  The committee voted unanimously to endorse local candidate for State Representative from the 2nd Hampden district Allison Werder and local candidate for Register of Deeds Marie Angelides.  Both candidates reside in Longmeadow.  The Committee had previously voted financial support to both candidates.

The committee also voted unanimously to endorse Whitman State Representative Geoff Diehl for the U. S. Senate, noting that he had waged a strong campaign in Western Mass. as well as the more populated areas of the state, and all other Republicans running, all the way to our popular, respected and effective Gov. Charlie Baker and Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito.

The East Longmeadow Republican Town Committee represents the Republican party at the local neighborhood level, and is comprised of East Longmeadow residents who seek to be involved in the development of the community and the strengthening of Republican principles in town and state government.
