I am convinced that Mitch McConnell and his Republican cohorts are not interested at all in what is best for the USA. I have felt this way for a long time also feeling that McConnell is still not sure that the Civil War ever ended.
For me the final insult to our country was McConnell and his gang supporting the ridiculous voting restrictions.
Whether or not other people feel this way, I am quite certain that Mr. McConnell's racist bent is what prompted him to go down this path. The voting laws that are being presented clearly are directed at the Black American population and other citizens who would in one way or another fall into a category of those for whom voting is already challenging in several states.
My hope is that these attempts at election rigging by those Republicans in McConnell's gang will be struck down by the Supreme Court, thereby affording all Americans equal opportunity to vote. His determination to support such a measure makes me wonder about his own citizenship!
