Joining many other not-for-profit groups and citizens across Western Massachusetts supporting those in need during the pandemic and recovery planning, the Rotarians of East Longmeadow have coordinated efforts to help provide some relief support. The club provided $500 in grocery store gift cards to the Council on Aging to support the Food Pantry and families supported by the Pantry. Work continues with the EL Fire Department to create safer work and living conditions and the club is donating a Professional Cordless Electrostatic Sprayer. The sprayer will be used to decontaminate ambulance, fire trucks, police cruisers, and stations including the cells at the Police Department. The club also donated $1000 to the COVID-19 Response efforts of the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts that is helping non-profit organizations through grant programs.
