| On Oct. 13, the "Elvis Mania" Dinner Show was held as a fund raiser for the East Longmeadow Senior Center Renovation Project. It was the truest reflection of a local business supporting the community in which it resides. Members of the Forastiere family and staff coordinated the event, and numerous businesses and individuals also contributed financial support to make this occasion a terrific success. On behalf of everyone at the East Longmeadow Council on Aging, I would like to thank the Forastiere family and staff, as well as all of the sponsors who made the commitment to honor the late Rosalind Clark and her family at this fundraiser. Our gratitude goes as well to everyone for their support of the elders of East Longmeadow, with a special thanks to Sy Becker of WWLP TV 22, for emceeing the evening. Although I have only been the ELCOA Director for the past seven months, I have been very impressed with this community and the collaboration for this event has reinforced those thoughts even more.
