My name is Carleen Eve Fischer Hoffman and I am announcing my candidacy for East Longmeadow Town Council.
My family and I have lived here for 14 years. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many of our town officials and board members through volunteering with the Green Committee and the Medical Reserve Corps.
I have worked hard to achieve success and I own two award winning businesses. Running my businesses has given me the opportunity to plan for the future while being efficient in meeting my customer’s expectations to get the job done.
My goal is to listen respectfully to the needs of our residents so your voice is heard, to evaluate the challenges ahead through thoughtful planning, and to respond effectively. I am committed to the success of this town and want to help make it stronger so you will be proud to live here. I want you to have faith that what is being done is the right thing for our town.
We need to have new fiscal policies and long term financial planning, to allow us to meet the challenges of the future. The new town council must be responsive to the interests of our residents.
June is approaching fast. I encourage everyone to come out to our Candidates Night on May 19 and meet those interested in running for town council. Election day is June 7, this is your time to make the right choice, vote for Carleen Eve Fischer Hoffman.
