Why is Trump supporting so many unfit candidates for office? For example, Marjorie Taylor Greene says that Biden’s advocacy and incentives for electric vehicles is an attempt to emasculate American men.
Real men drive gas cars and pollute. Lauren Boebert who carries a gun everywhere even to the restroom says that Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan is horrible because it could lead to “rampant education and wonton (sic) learning”. Doug Mastriano (governor for Pennsylvania) says the COVID[-19] vaccine is “the government’s poison.” He helped charter six buses to Trump’s Jan. 6 rally. Michael Peroutka (attorney genertal for Maryland) says that public education is a communist plot to transform America away from a Christian worldview.
Herschel Walker, the wealthy retired football player may be the worst of the lot. He claims he was a police officer and graduated from college. Both are lies. He claims he supervised six hospitals and currently runs five or six businesses. More lies. His take on climate change is and I quote “Our good air decided to float over to China’s bad air so when China gets our good air, their bad air got to move. So it moves over to our good air space.” Should this man direct our climate policy? He thinks he can gain the evangelical vote by being totally opposed to all abortions, no exceptions for rape, incest or to save a woman’s life. At the same time, he has fathered children with a number of different women. When asked why he doesn’t visit any of his children, he says, “Why do I need to?” One woman with whom he has a child has proof that he encouraged and paid for her abortion. She has a clinic receipt, a photo of his check and a get well card with his name. Walker’s wife claims she moved with their four children six times in six months to escape domestic violence after Walker held a gun to her head. Newt Gingrich says we should forgive Walker because he had many concussions and suffers from PTSD. Sounds like a stellar candidate for Georgia’s senate seat!
There are others, e.g. Kari Lake, Dan Cox, J.D. Vance, Blake Masters, Mark Finchem and several more. Why does Trump endorse these terrible candidates? They support his “Big Lie” which is enough for Trump.
