Vote for Lesser

Date: 8/24/2022

On Sept. 6, I will cast my vote in the Democratic primary for Eric Lesser for lieutenant governor.

Eric’ s experience makes him uniquely situated to hep build a new foundation for Massachusetts citizens for living and working in the 21st Century.

Through his eight years in the state Senate, Eric has represented the broadest swath of people of any of the candidates for lt. governor – living in cities, suburbs and rural area, working in stores, farms, factories and offices, His state Senate office is well known for providing excellent constituent services to people in all these settings.

As governor, Maura Healey will need a partner who knows that Massachusetts doesn’t end at Rt. 495 and in Eric she will get someone who believes in statewide inclusiveness. He doesn’t just talk about it, after decades of fruitless discussion, Eric had finally brought affordable east-west transit to knit the state together by providing more employment and housing opportunities to the cusp of realization.
Eric’s commitment to education is life-long. As a teenager he successfully worked to prevent layoffs of his high school teachers. In the state Senate he has focused on expansing civics education and providing students with more opportunities for vocational training.

Eric is uniquely positioned to get Massachusetts more aid from Washington, both through his relationship with Congressman Richard Neal (who endorsed him in the race) and through his experience as director of Strategic Planning for the President’s Council in Economic Advisors in the Obama White House.
Please join me on Sept. 6 in nominating Eric Lesser to become the next lieutenant governor of Massachusetts.
