This is Massachusetts where every act must be reacted to with legislation. A Chicopee policeman spread crime photos around. He was disciplined, and later left over some other incident. As far as wrong doing goes, more was done about this incident than what usually happens.
Cameras are a useful tool. Will a law making them more difficult to use have “unforseen” consequences? Laws with unforseen consequences start with a local legislator who does not have the backbone to say “no.” It is easier to file the bill and hope it will not pass.
