Question - What is it like, being an Edmonton native, to play for Edmonton's affiliate team, the Springfield Falcons?

Answer - It is great; any time you get an opportunity to play at this level it is real special. I am very excited to get out and play.

Question - What was it like making your AHL debut with Iowa few years back?

Answer - It was great, ended up finishing the season with them during my first year back playing hockey in North America. It is always great to play at this level.

Question - Do you get any extra motivation since your grandfather was a former coach of the Edmonton Oilers?

Answer - Yes, it has been in my blood to play hockey, and it is nice growing up with someone to help guide me through my career. Being able to talk to my grandfather about hockey all the time was a huge plus.

Question - Do you lean on him for advice?

Answer - Of course, when I can get a hold of him and chat for a few minutes, it is great to talk to him.

Question - How has the recovery from your knee injury been?

Answer - I am excited to get back playing hockey again and continue to progress in my career. You do not realize how much you miss it until you can not play for a year.

Question - How did things go for you in the ECHL?

Answer - It was a good time, the weather is great and we have a good team. The coach is nice and it is a great place to come back from an injury to and get playing again.

Question - What type of player are you?

Answer - I do a little bit of everything, I am going to do whatever the coaches ask me, and I am going to do whatever I can to help the team win.
