Question: How do you feel about the adjustment to the pro game?

Micflikier It's a challenge, I played four years of college, so the pro game is a longer season. I played in nine games with the Falcons at the end of last year, so I was able to see what I should expect for this year. It will be great, I love the game of hockey and to continue as a pro will be fun.

Question: How did you workout this past summer?

Micflikier I tried to get stronger physically and make sure I felt strong heading into camp. I need to use my quickness on the ice, so you always want to make sure you stay in good shape. At the pro game, guys are so strong, so I wanted to make sure I did some weight training and be ready for camp.

Question: What are your goals heading into this season?

Micflikier My goals are to try and earn a spot in Springfield. If I have to go down to their ECHL affiliate in Stockton, I will do that and work hard, but earning a spot in the AHL is a big goal. I am learning everyday on the ice and I feel I can improve each day as well. No matter what level I am playing, I want to work hard and do what is best for the team.

Question: What was your greatest moment while playing at the University of New Hampshire?

Micflikier I would say the friendships I made at school, I met a lot of great people and I enjoyed my experience at New Hampshire. The atmosphere was great every night we played, the students really packed the arena and we had good teams, which helps as well.

Question: How happy were you to sign an AHL deal with the NHL's Edmonton Oilers this past summer?

Micflikier It was great, you always want to get a contract and knowing the history the Oilers have with winning Stanley Cups, it's an honor to play for them. Like I said, I am just hoping to earn a spot in Springfield and work my way up.
