Question You recently received your first recall to the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers, what was that experience like?

Reddox It's was tremendous just being around NHL players and the guys up top were great to me. Just the opportunity to practice with world-class players was a lot of fun and I am better player because of it.

Question Were you disappointed you didn't see any minutes in a game while with the Oilers?

Reddox You always want to play, but I understood the situation and just being up at the level is an honor. had the chance to take warm-ups, so the experience was something that was very good for me. I am rookie at that level, so I understood the situation.

Question Does it give even more motivation to strive to get back to the NHL after seeing what it's like?

Reddox Absolutely, I wasn't sure where I was on the depth-chart and now I have a better idea. Anytime you know you are close to making that next step, you are very motivated as a player. It's nice to know that the brass in Edmonton is noticing everyone's hard work.

Question How nice was it to spend your time in the NHL with players such as: Zack Stortini, Ladislav Smid, Allan Rourke and Robert Nilsson, guys that have been teammates with you in Springfield this year?

Reddox All those guys are doing well, Rourke is playing mistake-free hockey up there and is doing well on the blueline. Smid is playing with some confidence he gained in Springfield early on this season, and both Robert and Zack are fulfilling their roles with Edmonton as well.

Question What's the feeling been like in the locker room this year?

Reddox Guys are confident and everyone gets along really well on this team. Guys want to compete and get better and we continue to do that. Wee have had some success, but we want to keep getting better and that is our goal.

Question You grew up just outside of Toronto, who were some of the individuals who helped you become a pro hockey player?

Reddox My parents for sure, they are the ones who got me to the rink everyday. There is also a training facility right outside of Toronto and they have really whipped me into shape.
