HOLYOKE – The Valley Blue Sox recently released their promotions schedule.
Star Wars Night Presented by Berkshire Heating & Air Conditioning will take place June 13. The first 250 children in the gates will receive their very own lightsaber.
There will be three post-game Friday Night Fireworks at the stadium following games on June 21, June 26 and July 31; Friday Night Fireworks are brought to you by Elms College, 94.7 WMAS and TD Bank.
Every Sunday will be Military Appreciation Night, presented by Yankee Candle.
On July 26, the last of the season’s Military Appreciation Nights, the Blue Sox will wear their military cameo jerseys for the final time, and they will be auctioned off following the game.
All proceeds from the auction will go towards the Purple Heart Foundation. Military members with valid military ID receive $4 admission to all Blue Sox home games.
On June 27, fans will have the opportunity to meet the mascot of the Boston Red Sox, Wally the Green Monster.
Aug. 1 will be Fan Appreciation Night with a chance for all fans to meet the mascot of the New England Patriots, Pat the Patriot.
Special giveaways and prizes will be awarded all night long.
