Ludlow Boys and Girls Club to sponsor cross country program

LUDLOW – The Ludlow Community Center and Randall Boys and Girls Club will sponsor a youth cross country program this fall.

The program will be available to both boys and girls with groups divided by gender and age – third to fifth grade and sixth to eighth grade.

Practices will take place on Wednesdays from Sept. 10 to Oct. 22 from 5:45 to 7 p.m. and will incorporate fun games that involve running. Each participant will be expected to be involved in the games to help increase running fitness.

Races will take place on Sept. 26 and Oct. 10 from 6 to 7 p.m. and Oct. 25 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Participants will run a 1.5 mile cross country course near the Ludlow Community Center and Randall Boys and Girls Club facility.

All sessions will take place at the athletic field at the Ludlow Community Center and Randall Boys and Girls Club, 91 Claudia's Way.
