| Enthusiastic golfers wanted for Knights of Columbus tournament SPRINGFIELD Golf Anyone? The Knights of Columbus Home City Council #63 is looking for enthusiastic golfers for their Charity Golf Tournament, which will take place on Oct. 14 at the Veterans Golf Course, 1059 South Branch Parkway. Tee times start at noon. A light lunch will be provided at the golf course with dinner to follow at St. Catherine's Parish Hall, 1023 Parker Street. Entry fee is $85 and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, raffle prizes, as well as lunch and dinner. Mail checks to Bob Perkins, Golf Committee Co-Chair, 71 Holland Drive, East Longmeadow, MA 01028. Although the Knights of Columbus provide financial aid to sick, disabled, elderly and needy persons, the priority of Home City Council #63 is assisting disabled children and their families, and providing fuel assistance for the elderly. |
