Roche proves her 'medal'

EAST LONGMEADOW – Swimmer Sophia Roche, 12, a resident of East Longmeadow and student at Birchland Park Middle School, participated in the 2014 Baystate Games at Springfield College on July 19 and 20,  taking home two bronze, one silver, and a gold medal.

Roche has been swimming competitively since she was 7, and trains with Mei’s Typhoons Swim Club and the East Longmeadow Marlins.
