Smead Arena to host competition

Smead Arena at Blunt Park in Springfield will be the site of the second annual Pioneer Valley Penguin Invitational figure skating competition, hosted by the Little Sun Valley Skating Club. The event is being held on Nov. 19 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and will feature all levels of skating from basic skills to intermediate level freestyle.
