Springfield Falcons news update

SPRINGFIELD The Springfield Falcons announced that they have changed their game originally scheduled on Oct. 30 against the Binghamton Senators to Dec. 11. Game time will remain 7 p.m. and tickets for the Oct. 30 date will be valid for rescheduled date on Dec. 11. The Falcons next home game will be Nov. 2 when they host the Providence Bruins at the MassMutual Center.

"With all of the excitement surrounding the Boston Red Sox and the World Series, we thought as an organization this change made sense," said Falcons president and general manager Bruce Landon. "The Red Sox in the World Series is a big event for all of New England and we want our fans to have a chance to enjoy he moment."

Single game tickets for the 2007-08 regular season are on sale at the MassMutual Center Box Office and online at ticketmaster.com. MassMutual Center Box Office hours are Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sat., 10 a.m.-4 p.m., or four hours prior to an event. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 787-6600.
