Western Mass. Profesional Soccer earns wet win

The Western Mass. Professional Soccer Club secured a 2-0 road victory over the host Rhode Island Oceaneers in the rain on Sept. 13.

Western Mass. got an early goal just seven minutes in when Drou Goff’s perfect service allowed Will Daniels to place the ball past the Rhode Island goalkeeper.

Will Daniels scored the second goal of the match, pouncing on a loose ball just inside the 18 yard box in the 38 minute.

“The team played great as we attacked the ball defensively and then switching play to pressure offensively. We were fortunate to capitalize and score a couple of goals,” Daniels said.
