CHICOPEE — Bob “The Bike Man” Charland donated winter coats to the Chicopee Police Department, to be distributed to the department’s C3 units as well as to the schools for children in need of coats.
Police Chief Patrick Major said, I can say that Bob Charland is one in a million. Bob truly exemplifies the best character and attributes of a true giving, kind person.”
He continued, “The coat donations are much needed for many in our community this time of year. Our officers that are in constant contact with the community can identify where that need exists and get the coats to those that need them.”
Major shared that he and the entire Chicopee Police Department are “honored” to work with Charland.
