CHICOPEE – State Sen. Eric Lesser recently visited St. Joan of Arc School's 8th grade history class. He discussed his role in state government, the process of proposing a bill and the steps to make it a law. The students participated in an interactive lesson on proposing a bill. They debated the pros and cons before taking a vote. Afterwards, Lesser answered students' questions about his job and he ended the visit by explaining the importance of having a voice and voting.
