Ninja Sushi celebrates ribbon cutting for West Street location

CHICOPEE — Ninja Sushi, a new restaurant in Chicopee, has officially opened its doors at 108 West St.

Mayor John Vieau, state Sen. Adam Gomez (D-Springfield) and city employees visited the location on Oct. 13 for a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Vieau welcomed and congratulated Ninja Sushi on its opening, while recognizing the surrounding downtown storefronts that are “filling up like crazy.”

He expressed his excitement for the new business and wished them years of success.

Manager Conie Liang described the pioneer location as a “fresh feel.”

From standard rolls to hibachi meals and daily specials, Ninja Sushi has a protracted menu with countless items to choose from.

Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, attendees gathered inside to enjoy some appetizers and meal samples, which Vieu described as “great food.”

Ninja Sushi is open Tuesday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sunday, 12 to 10 p.m. It is closed on Mondays.
