Exit 7 Players to bring back 'Nuncrackers'Date: 11/25/2009 LUDLOW The Exit 7 Players are proud to announce their holiday musical "Nuncrackers, the Nunsense Christmas Musical." Featuring a spectacular cast including Claire Bertrand, Mary Jane Disco, Katie Clark, Sue Crowther, John Woytowicz and a host of local children playing the students from Mount St. Helen's School, this Christmas musical for the entire family is not one to be missed.
"Nuncrackers, the Nunsense Christmas Musical" is presented as the first TV special taped in the Cable Access Studio built by Reverend Mother in the convent basement. It stars the nuns you love, plus Father Virgil, and some of Mount Saint Helen's most talented students. Featuring all new songs including "Santa Ain't Comin' to Our House," "We Three Kings of Orient Are Us" and "It's Better to Give than to Receive," this show is filled with typical Nunsense humor, some of your favorite carols, and a "Secret Santa" audience participation.
The show includes some traditional carols in the overture and as underscoring, plus some Christmas Carol spoofs including "Here We Come-a-Waffle-ing" and "The Holly and the Ivory." Of course, the show is filled with the traditional "Nunsense-sense of humor" and one-liners that have made the three previous Nunsense shows so popular. We're certain this Nunsense Christmas show will make you laugh, and maybe tug at your heartstrings. It's the perfect way to ensure that your holiday season is merry and bright!
This production will be directed by Rob Clark, musically directed by Karla Newmark, and choreographed by Katie Clark and Aileen Terzi.
