ASBAC to host final workshop of the season

AGAWAM The Agawam Small Business Assistance Center (ASBAC) will be hosting its final workshop of the season on May 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Agawam Library on Cooper St. in Agawam.

The workshop is free to the public and will consist of a panel discussion lead by area professionals in all different forms of advertising and marketing media.

Barbara Perry, vice president and sales manager for Reminder Publications will represent the print media; Fred Steinman owner and manager of VAL- Pak will be on hand to discuss direct marketing; Jim Powers owner of Technographics will be available to speak on website advertising and web design; Susan Murray vice president and general manager of WMAS Radio will discuss and answer questions on radio advertising; Vincent Traina owner of VPT Advertising & Marketing services will speak on the benefits of using an ad agency.

There will also be an account executive from WWLP Channel 22 to discuss and answer questions about local television advertising.

This panel of professionals will speak on the pros and cons of all forms of advertising and marketing, give you good and sound advice on methods of advertising, how to do an ad, costs of advertising, marketing and branding your company, and other related information.

This workshop tends to fill up very quickly. Although this is a free workshop you must register to attend. You may register on line at www.asbac.net or you may call 786-0172. There is plenty of free parking and refreshments will be served.
